I just discovered your first book, am having a hard time putting it down, and went off to buy the second book (which I had seen had a release date on Amazon of last year, when I bought the first one.) When I saw the actual page said it wasn't available, I basically quoted the title of this blog post. I want to read it so badly... please, please, PLEASE don't be the next Rothfuss (or for that matter, the next Scott Lynch - I was introduced to Among Thieves by someone saying I should read it to tide me over until the 3rd Gentleman Bastards book appears, as it has some similarity. So that would be a bit ironic.) But yes, editing is good, I will agree. Better a delayed book than one that isn't as good as it could be. Well… crud.
